Over 50 friends, colleagues, and family members came together last night to enjoy holiday cheer and change the world simultaneously. Collectively, we raised $1500 and tons of awareness for Heifer International. And, our good friends at KUZA joined in on the fun and showcased their organization by displaying and selling beads. The concept is simple: we supply the food, the drink, the fun and the friends, while you simply come and make a donation of any amount to buy a goat through Heifer International. We are long-time supporters of both Heifer International and the One Campaign and their collective work to end extreme poverty. This year we will focus on using the proceeds from our party to buy as many cows as we can for Heifer International.
Since 2005, our Annual Holy Cow Party has made a difference, purchasing dozens of cows, goals, water wells, and even helped supply food for the local Portland food bank. And, hey, hundreds of our friends have started the holiday season off with a blessing. Come join our annual party for a better world. Adults only.
